About Us

Creation of Kindred Gift by Leah Barthel

In January 2017 I was made redundant. The irony of this was that I had just written A Gift Before I Go. I saw this as an opportunity to do what I truly love. So what was that?

  • Yoga & Meditation
  • Dancing
  • Writing
  • Grief & Loss
  • Organ Donation Advocacy
  • Public Speaking
  • And of course being the best Mum I could be.

I set out to create my business.

Did my 200hr yoga teacher training, Micro buniness course, Self publishing course and the Butterfly Ball by Chris Barthel.

Organ Donation Advocacy

Volunteer for Donate Life Australia

Have you had the chat with your loved one's? Do you know what they would want if their life came to an end suddenly?

Before Mum died I was totally naive. I thought organ donation happened in every hospital everyday. It wasn't until the statistics came through for the year 2011 that I became aware that this wasn't the case. There were only 67 donors in NSW for that year and approximately 438 nationwide. Yet over 500 people died awaiting a lifesaving transplant. It was these figures that created a desire to help educate around this important topic.
