About Kindred Gift by Leah Barthel

I created Kindred Gift by Leah Barthel in 2017, with the goal to empower individuals to take control of their health and wellness especially whilst navigating through grief.

My own experience with grief and loss (the death of both my parents and four grandparents, a marriage break down and a diagnosis of breast cancer) has lead me down a path that I didn't want to travel but has been my biggest teacher, showing me a level of resilience and strength, that I never knew I possessed.

My goal is to assist grieving families through support and personalized care. I believe that everyone has a Life Story and I aim to assist you with telling your loved one's story in the most beautiful way.

My mission statement is a little different to the one's you will see on other businesses. 

When I wrote this poem I knew what it was I was 

meant to do.

The Path to Purpose

I'm calling in my life,

I'm knowing who I am.

I'm reaching for the stars and creating all I can.

I surrender and let go, cut the strings that had control.

I've found my place called home,

 and now I feel whole.

It's time to shine and be alive and keep your energy so you thrive.

To walk the walk and talk the talk. 

To hold their hands and heal the hurt.

To start afresh through all the pain. To find a new normal and live again.

To let go of the guilt, the despair and distress.

To walk your feet upon a new address.

The path that leads to purpose, the purpose to achieve.

To grow and serve and help and heal, especially when we grieve.

Today I set on this path, knowing who I am.

What I'm meant to do, how to live.

It's all part of a plan.
